Hundreds of spectators gathered along the parade route to watch the 50th annual Rainsville Christmas Parade last Saturday.
The wide array of entries did not disappoint parade watchers who cheered as the parade marched along its path.
Hope Puppet Ministries from Rainsville First Baptist Church won first-place in the float contest with their 10-foot Christmas tree filled with singing puppets and surrounded by presents. The first-place winner received $250.
Victory Baptist Church of Rainsville received a prize of $175 for their second-place finish, and Calvary Baptist Church of Fyffe won $100 for placing third in the float contest.
